According to Pinoy Parazzi, 24 Oras’ Chika Minute news anchor Pia Guanio presented the news report about the surprise of GMA-7′s executives to the lovely actress. Her manager told her that she is going to have a meeting with the executives about her next project with the station. The manager didn’t give her a single clue though.
When she entered the room, there were confetti’s and balloons. A tarp was shown where the text “Marian is Darna!” is posted.
Marian Rivera is excited to her new project and this also serves as a challenge to her. Will she be able to surpass the achievements of Angel Locsin in terms of acting and ratings?

Love Me Again: Land Down Under, in theaters this January
Two of the hottest stars on Philippine television, Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin, pairs up in this international flick, Love Me Again: Land Down Under. The movie, which was initially shown in America last December 2008, will be shown this January 25 in all theaters nationwide.

Angel Locsin, is a popular Filipina television and film actress, commercial model, film producer, and product endorser who was introduced in GMA Network’s youth-oriented program, “Click”. Locsin rose to prominence after being cast as one of the lead stars in the fantasy-themed television series “Mulawin” in 2004.
