Mark Anthony Fernandez is tagged as “The Ultimate Leading Man” of the Kapuso network. He was born in Manila, Philippines on January 16, 1978. He is the product of the union of Rudy Fernandez and Alma Moreno.

Mark Anthony Fernandez started out his showbiz career as one of the members of the trio “Gwapings” together with Jomari Yllana and Eric Fructuso. He became controversial when he admitted his relationship with Claudine Barretto. The two made blockbuster movies together which includes Pare Ko and Mangarap ka. However, he became a victim of drug addiction which caused the downfall of his career.

He went inside the drug rehabilitation center and was later on released. He made two sexy movies under Viva Films then he went back to his bad vice.

In 2005, he was released once again from the rehab and he promised that he will concentrate on his showbiz career and his family.

Since then, he appeared on the tv shows  Super Inggo, Impostora and Kamandag. However, his biggest comeback project is in “Ako si Kim Sam Soon” where he played the role of Cyrus. A lot of people admired his acting skills and eventually forgot about his dark past. His team-up with Regine Velasquez had a lot of fans.

He is currently visible as the leading man of Heart Evangelista in Luna Mystica. He is set to play an important role in “All About Eve” with Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado.
