Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu or Kim Chiu is a teenstar from the Philippines. She became popular when she was proclaimed as the first ever Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Grand Winner.
Kim Chiu was born on April 19, 1990 at Tacloban City. She grew up in Cebu City with her chinese family. She was one of the early favorites in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition due to her humility and bubbly personality.
She was immediately paired with co-PBB housemate Gerald Anderson. The two appeared together on a number of ABS-CBN shows like Lovespell, ASAP, Your Song, Sana Maulit Muli and the Philippine adaptation of the Korean series, My Girl.
Kim Chiu is also an occational singer. Some of her hit songs include Peng You, Heartbreak Song, Sabihin Mo Na and Crazy Love. She also has a number of endorsements under her belt.
Today, Kim Chiu is set to appear as the female lead at the teleserye “Tayong Dalawa” together with Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca. She plays the role of a Filipino/Chinese girl who is looking for true love.
