Katrina Halili
Katrina Iren Pe Halili, popularly known as Katrina Halili is a popular Filipina actress from El Nido, Palawan. She was born on January 4, 1986 and is currently playing the lead female role in GMA-7′s Gagambino opposite Dennis Trillo.
Katrina Halili was discovered while she was partying with her friends at Eastwood. A staff from GMA-7 approached her and she was later on convinced to join the first season of Starstruck.
After her short stint in the said reality artista search, she appeared on a number of Kapuso shows like SOP Gigsters, Stage 1: The Starstruck Playhouse, Joyride and Forever in my Heart.
She was noticed by the male populace when she was chosen to play the role of Black Darna, one of the villainess in the show Darna. She was offered by FHM Philippines to be their cover girl for December and she gamely posed to be their 2006 calendar girl.
She became the most popular Kapuso kontrabida because of her effective portrayal as Juno in Majika and as Angelica Santibanez at Marimar.
She appeared on a number of films like Gigil, Shake, Rattle and Roll IX, Super Noypi and the latest is One Night Only.
Recently, Katrina Halili announced that she won’t be doing kontrabida roles anymore. She is also set to do the remake of the classic film “Miss X”, originally done by Vilma Santos. She is set to leave the country next month and shoot the movie at Germany.
