Jennylyn Mercado is one of the most controversial actress in the Philippines Today. Her real name is Jennylyn Anne Pineda Mercado. She was born on May 15, 197 at Las Pinas City. She is the first ever ultimate female survivor of the reality-based artista search Starstruck.
Jennylyn Mercado started out as one of the members of the singing group G4 under Nonoy Tan in 1999. When the project was scrapped, she ventured into modeling and appeared on a number of print ads and commercials which includes Bambini cologne. She was included in the elite Circle of 10 together with Dion Ignacio.
Though she was shy at the first part of the first season, Jennylyn Mercado was proclaimed as the first Ultimate Female survivor of Starstruck together with Mark Herras as the male counterpart.
She released her debut album the same year entitled “Living The Dream”. Her sophomore album is entitled “Letting Go”.
Some of her tv shows include Forever in my Heart, Joyride, SOP Gigsters, Encantadia, I Luv NY, Now and Forever presents Dangal, Super Twins, La Vendetta and the latest is Sinenovela’s Paano Ba Ang Mangarap?
Her movie credits include So Happy Together, Let The Love Begin, Say that you love me, Lovestruck, Blue Moon, Eternity, Super Noypi, Angels, Tiyanaks, Resiklo, Nars, Half-Blood Samurai and One Night Only.
She is a mother to Alex Jazz and the father is ex-boyfriend Patrick Garcia. She is set to release a coffee table book soon entitled REBORN featuring her photos during and after her pregnancy.
jennylyn is my fan since she won the Ultimate survivor..i followed her since then as she is a good singer really i can tell it…….and even saw her in cebu city……………..
